AllSwell Journaling Workshop

Laura Rubin of AllSwell Creative hosted a journaling workshop which led participates through accessible writing-based activities that allowed them to tap into their creativity, using free-form expressive  writing.

The workshop included all the tools needed to journey through creative writing. AllSwell notebooks are designed by Laura and feature half lined paper, and half blank making them perfect for sketching, writing, lists, journaling and whatever else you need!

Laura curated a selection of literature to prompt ideas, formats, and creativity no matter how you digest it and write it out. No need to be a pro either! It’s not about skill or format, it’s about the act of putting pen (or pencil) to paper and giving yourself the time and space to write freely. Laura talked about the research of the benefits of writing and how themes are a fun and creative way to help guide us through the process.

The theme for our workshop was Oceanic, which couldn’t be more perfect for our setting.
